Debit Card Security Risk (01/22/09)

Dear Customer:

We have been informed of a large-scale account data compromise by a major U.S. based payment processor, Heartland Payment Systems. This compromise involves all credit and debit card brands, including Winter Hill Bank 's MasterMoney Debit Cards. Although debit card numbers have been affected, no personal customer bank account information was exposed.

In response, we are taking immediate action to protect any of our customers whose card information may have been compromised in this event. If your card number has been compromised, we will notify you and issue you a new Winter Hill Bank MasterMoney Debit Card with a different card number. You may want to review and monitor your statements over the next 12 to 24 months and report any suspicious activity to the Bank.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us at 800-444-4300.
