Dear Customer:

As debit card use becomes more widespread, scams designed to take advantage of this service continue to develop. A recent case involving restaurant employees fraudulently capturing card information has come to our attention.

In response, we are taking immediate action to protect any of our customers whose card information may have been compromised in this event. If your card number has been compromised, we will notify you and issue you a new Winter Hill Bank MasterMoney Debit Card with a different card number. You may want to review and monitor your statements over the next 12 to 24 months and report any suspicious activity to the Bank.

We would like to take this opportunity to remind you that fraud occurs everywhere and in many different ways. Take a little time to be aware of your surroundings and you may be able to avoid a potentially costly and inconvenient situation.
